The class of 2018 was an exciting class. But where are the seniors now?
Donnie Swanson went on to join the Army.
“Well, I'm currently stationed over at Fort Campbell Kentucky/Tennessee. I'm with the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) division. I'm an 11B or Infantryman. Currently been doing a lot of training and learning on how my job works and doing better at it. Any more questions feel free to email me back! Hailey Hinkle went on to go to college at BYU.
“I am attending BYU, I am studying elementary education. I just finished my first year with a 3.7 GPA. I am home for the summer and will be working at Global Coffee and at Barrick as a summer student,” said Hailey Hinkle via text.
Shelby Garrison went on to UNR to run track.
“I’m going to school at UNR and majoring in biology to become a physician's assistant. I’ve also been running track this year for Nevada which has been a lot of fun,” said Shelby Garrison via text.
Sylvie Prokasky has stayed in Winnemucca to attend Great Basin College.
“I am currently attending Great Basin College at the Winnemucca campus. I am also working at the college as a Tutor/Proctor. I applied to the Radiology Program this Spring. If accepted into the program, I will transfer to Elko to take classes there. I am on track to graduate in Spring of 2020 with an Associate's of Applied Science with an emphasis of Radiology Technology,” said Sylvie Prokasky via text.
Cody Noyes went to Alaska to be a packer and a guide.
“Since I’ve graduated high school I have been a packer in Alaska, guiding hunts for a couple of months, went on to guide hunts for Nevada High Ridge Outfitters,” said Noyes. “I am very soon going to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Mexico,” said Noyes.
