Katie Schwartz and Chelsea Mendiola are the two coaches for the JV girls basketball team. When asked about her feelings on the game, coach Schwartz said the JV girls “came out and played smart”. They had a “big lead.” In the second half of the game, they were “more focused.” Schwartz also said that the team had good ball movement and that Sydney Blankenship had a “good game.”
When asked about where the team could have improved in the game, coach Schwartz said they could “improve on their defensive intensity off ball movement in offense”.
Jasmin Landa, a freshmen member of the JV team, said that she and her teammates “did really good, had up and down moments,” and that they “finished strong.” When asked where she would have improved in her game, Landa said she would have improved by “squaring up and shooting.”
